Earlier known as the United States of Greater Rajasthan, formed in 1949, the present State of Rajasthan came into existence in 1956. Rajasthan is one of the most famous tourist spots in India. Famous for its Havelis, Muslim Shrines, Hindu Melas, along with Sariska and Ranthambore National Park and Keoladeo Ghana Samber attracts thousands of tourists every year.
