About Jaipur: The capital city of Rajasthan, surrounded by hills and crowned by a formidable fort has numerous palaces, mansions and gardens. Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Jai Singh. This majestic city displays the art and skills of the craftsmen. Jaipur exemplifies the character of the state and its people. Jaipur is also home to exquisite handicrafts, beautiful textile prints, precious and semi precious gems and stones. Located at the edge of the great Indian desert, Jaipur is known as the Gateway to Rajasthan. A medieval city, with astoundingly beautiful palaces, colourful bazaars, and a fort brooding over the magnificent city. This city is popularly known as the 'Pink City' of India.

Hawa Mahal

Hawa Mahal : The most elegant building in Jaipur is the Hawa Mahal, is also known as the Palace of Winds. This palace has 593 windows, through which women of the palace were able to look at the world outside.


Samode Palace

Amber Palace : The Amber Palace is a hill-top fort which dates from 1700's. It is not only an attraction for the tourists, even painters and historians visit this palace.


Jaipur City Palace

City Palace : Jaipur city palace was built in the early 1700's by King Jai Singh II, who was known as an architect, town planner, scientist, and historian as well as a soldier and a ruler.
