 About Bikaner: The city of Bikaner stands on the northern tip of the desert triangle. Rao Jodha's eldest son Rao Bika built the city in late 1600's. The city of Bikaner had come into being & soon became a major trade centre in the 16th century on the ancient silk route. Junagarh Fort was built around 1587 to protect 37 palaces, temples and pavilions within, the fort is one of its kind. Today Junagarh houses a museum of valuable miniature paintings and other rare items from the glorious past of the Rajput ruler.
How to reach :The city is accessible from all parts of Rajasthan & also from various parts of India by rail, road & flights.
