About Bhopal: Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh, combines scenic beauty, historicity and modern urban planning. In 11th century, Raja Bhoja founded the city Bhojapal, today's Bhopal is situated on the site of that city. It presents a multi-faceted profile; this age-old but evergreen city with its famous market places and old mosques and palaces still bear the aristocratic imprint of its former rulers. Among the rulers of Bhopal are the Begums who ruled from 1819 to 1926. The new city is now a great tourist attraction with its exquisitely laid out parks and gardens, broad avenues and streamlined modern edifices.
How to reach :Nearest railheads are Jhansi, Satna, and Mahoba. Linked by air to Delhi, Agra and Varanasi. Connected by road to Satna, Harpalpur, Jhansi and Gwalior.
