Scrawlings: Multi-Track Snape Thoughts

Academia beware!

As a Snape fan, I am often accused of having a “one-track mind”. In the following discussion, I will demonstrate that a Snape fan actually has a multi-track mind, its just that the tracks all end at the same terminus.

Many try to dispute my statement that, in the right frame of mind, anything can be linked back to Severus Snape. Many have also been downright unnerved when I prove my point with examples. I shall now do so, also bringing to light what I refer to as “thought tracks”

Wheelbarrow – Barrow – Whomping Willow – Snape’s “revenge” on Sirius and Lupin

Teddy Bear – Bearings – Directions – Getting Lost – Snape taking points off Harry for wandering, lost, through corridors

Texta – Markings – Dark Mark – Severus Snape is a Death Eater

Rainwater – Water – Liquid – Potions – Snape is a Potions Master

Convinced? No? More examples! Shorter trains of thought this time…

Leg Snape being bitten on the leg by Fluffy

Toothpaste – Teeth - Snape has “uneven, yellowish teeth”

WindowSnape shuts windows in the Defense Against The Dark Arts class

The same process can work with people or situations, ie.

MumSnape’s Mum is called Eileen

Chemistry Class – Chemistry is like Potions, which Snape teaches

The situations need not be initially linked, but with a few intermediate word associations, the chain is completed.

Mowing the Lawn – Lawns are green – Green for Slytherin – Snape is the head of Slytherin.

As you can see, many tracks appear in a Snape fan’s mind. And, just to prove that my viewpoint is scientific, here is a diagram showing how tracks can converge.

Note the converging lines. Note the multi-tracks. I rest my case.
